Made To Last Forever

My boyfriend Raffy and I have recieved our second birth through water baptism at Davao City Foursquare Gospel Church. For almost 1 month that we have attended the church services from Wednesday Prayer Meeting, Marathon of Praise during Fridays and Sunday service. We have felt how  much God works in our life. There are many things that we have left behind when we started to recieved Jesus Christ wholeheartedly. Raffy and I have started reading the PDL as part of our daily devotion. I know to my heart that in every metaphor that we have read has impressed something in us that we have to acted out. After reading the Metaphot 15 from the said book where it mentioned about Baptism. It says: Every human being was created by God, but not everyone is a child of God. The only way to get into God’s family is by being born again into it. You  became part of the human family by your second birth. God”has given us the privilege of being born again, so that we are now members of God’s own family.” 1 Peter 1:3 (LB). It also says, that there is NO delayed baptism in the New Testament. From that day on  we never thought twice so after few days we both approached our host pastor that we want to be part of God’s family through water baptism. He was very happy hearing that from us. On the 18th of June at around 7:40 we publicly declared our faith, shared Christ’s burial and ressurection, pronounced death of our old life and announced our new life in Christ as what Second baptism mean.
