Made To Last Forever

Jesus said, “…I will build my church…” (Matthew 16:18) He built it with twelve flawed people just like you and me. But when He poured out Himself into them it was so powerful, that when two of them got together they could turn any town upside down. Yes! Everything in Faith and in Prayer.

Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together? Isn’t it awesome when you try something and it actuallu works? As we embark ourselves in this journey through Prayer, let us all get excited for this adventure that can change our lives. However, let us be reminded of some important trutths about prayer. Prayer is Not dictation. Praye is Not telling God what to do and then expecting His immediate, positive response. Prayer is cooperating with God so that He can release His Power.

As we gather ourselves to pray, let each one of us personify the tremendous faith in prayer of Eliezer’s Give Me Success Today, Jacob’s Bless Me Lord, Nehemias Deliver Us and Jesus’ Father, Forgive Them kinds of Prayer. Isn’t it amazing that God’s awesome power will manifest again to the Hannahs and Jacobs of today as we gather ourselves in prayer in Gethsemane 500?

Everyday, all over the world, great things happen through the lives at people who have become available for God in prayer. Today, let God do the work that needs to be done in each one of us, so that He can do the work that He desires to do through us. Let’s be available for God because powerful living comes through powerful praying!
