Worship the Lord in the Splendor of His Holiness(September2007)
Worship is a deep expression of adoration and praise to a magnificent God. This God is our God who created the heavens and the earth. He is holy and righteous, clothed in splendor and majesty. He has made us to honor His Name but we turned away from Him and lived a life in sin. Yet, in His unfathomable greatness, he chose to stoop down from heaven and gave us hope through our Lord Jesus Christ who took our penalty by dying on cross of Calvary. He supplies our needs and satisfies us with good things. He is full of compassion and mercy. He is always present when we call for His help in times of need. He is a great and wonderful God and is worthy to recieve the grandest applause of men.
Worship comes from the heart of a person who recognize God’s goodness. It is a natural expression of gratefulness not because of extra ordinary blessings recieved but solely because of who He is. Worshipping God is not confined in a church, a fellowship or in solitude. We worship God from our hearts. We can worship Him everywhere but most of all we worship him in the presence of His people. It is not an option, that whenever we don’t feel like praising Him we can be sullen or moody. Our natural mind may have a lot of reasons to counter the necessity of chamber of your heart you will decide to worship Him for He is indeed worthy to recieve the loudest praise and adoration from all kinds of people both young and old, great and small. Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness!
Blessings,
